"We can't speak more highly of Thorn Homes. We had conversations with a lot of builders but Thorn Homes stood out. Trevor was patient, understanding and helpful in his recommendations. They began work promptly on the agreed start date and from day one the team took ownership of the project and really took pride in their work. All of the guys on the ground were a pleasure to have around (our children miss them!) and we didn't have a single day where someone wasn't on site – not one! Ian was our project manager and did a stellar job. We were regularly kept up to date and dare we say it... actually enjoyed the process! "Our previous experience with builders some years ago had not been good, so we approached this project with some trepidation. We'd had some contact with Trevor when considering our earlier project and had found him extremely helpful, so approaching Thorns was always going to be an option. They and PSK architects were responsive and patient during the design process and in producing a quote for the work. They appreciated what it was we were trying to achieve and it really felt like a partnership. Above all, we wanted a company that could manage the project from day one and in this we were not disappointed. We didn't have to chase people to find out what was going on, nor organise individual trades. Any questions or concerns were readily addressed on site or immediately resolved by Ian. We said at the outset that if Thorns delivered everything we wanted, within budget and on time then we would be happy, and on that score it has been successful. On top of that, everyone involved has been a pleasure to deal with. Approachable, competent and professional, we could not speak more highly of them. Thoroughly recommended."

"From start to finish Thorn were absolutely fantastic. They gave us great advice and practical tips, provided a detailed quote, and were open from the start about what could possibly lead to extra costs. We had a loft conversion with a reconfiguration of the first two floors, including new bathrooms. The project manager Shane was brilliant the whole way through, keeping us updated and informed every step of the way and crucially ensuring we could move back in well before the baby arrived. Most importantly the quality of the work done has been exceptional. There's been very little snagging, but what little snags there were, were dealt with very quickly. We are so incredibly happy with our new home and everything has been done to such high standards. We can't thank the team enough."
