Three-Home Development
Acquisition and demolition of an existing detached dwelling, followed by planning and delivery of three high-quality new homes: two houses plus a rear bungalow. The project included newly formed access driveways and full utility connections for each property.
Five-Bedroom Sustainable Home, Cheltenham (Priory Villa)
A landmark five-bedroom home built to a net-zero carbon footprint. Every element of this build was engineered for sustainability and long-term performance: air-source heat pumps, mechanical heat recovery systems, roof-integrated solar panels, water-restriction devices, and upgraded cavity wall insulation throughout.
The architecture delivers an ashlar stone facade across four storeys, with a sweeping oak and glass staircase at its heart. Priory Villa was awarded the FMB Sustainability Award 2023 (South West) — a recognition of the exceptional standards of sustainable construction delivered by Thorn Homes.
Detached Bungalow Garden Development
Acquisition of a rear garden plot and construction of a new two-bedroom detached bungalow following successful planning approval. The project spanned every stage of the build process: planning, ground works, superstructure, first and second fix, external works, and final completion.
Cotswold Stone New Build, Bishops Cleeve
Demolition of a former post office, replaced by a new four-bedroom detached house finished in traditional Cotswold stone. The design was developed to reflect the local architectural character while delivering a thoroughly modern family residence — practical, well-proportioned, and built to last.
Four-Bedroom Detached House, Gloucestershire
